Science Week!

We celebrated Science Week this year with a dynamic line-up of activities designed to ignite curiosity and foster a love for STEM.

The timetable was packed with interactive, hands-on events across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Students raced against the clock in a thrilling Science Escape Room challenge and crafted cars using hovercraft materials for high-speed racing competitions. They also embraced the chill of liquid nitrogen during an ice cream-making session and explored anatomy through a fascinating rat dissection workshop.

For those with a creative flair, lab coat embroidery workshops combined art and science, while House quizzes added a fun, competitive edge to the week.

With their enthusiasm shining through in every activity, it’s safe to say that the future of STEM at Guildford High School is bright!
