International Day

The Junior School celebrated their first ever International Day on Thursday 15th June. The girls all turned up in costumes close to their hearts, celebrating their individual cultural differences and similarities.

During the day the girls attended workshops based around a specific and diverse culture, learning about the dances, music, art, sport, languages and Festivals of either Hawaii, India, Australia, Brazil, Russia or South Africa. Parents were also involved, some coming in to share the aspects of their cultures that they value and care about. The whole day culminated in two carnival assemblies where the girls performed their dances and music. It was a fantastic day with a buzz that lasted from the start of school until the very last girl left the building.
