Brooklands Museum

Year 3 went on a fun-filled Science trip to Brooklands Museum. We sat in the fastest and highest passenger plane ever and learnt interesting facts about Aerospatiale BAC Concorde. It flew over the Atlantic at the edge of space at more than twice the speed of sound. We also went in a VC-10 which belonged to the Sultan of Oman and had been fitted out very luxuriously!  We then visited the bus exhibition and went up to the top deck of a double decker bus that was 49 years old! At the end of the day we built cars and raced them down a little ramp to test them. We then took them over to a big hill for the final race. Overall it was a really interesting and fun day!
